Spacious and Modern Corporate Events Venue
Riverside Hall and Marquee commenced operations in 2004 and is an events venue that caters for all the functions that you could possibly imagine from weddings to any corporate event and the only Events Venue in Port Elizabeth that can accommodate helicopters.
We cater for weddings, year-end functions, product launches, gala evenings, themed parties, conferences, team-building events and family days. In fact if you can think of it, we can do it. We have had christenings in the chapel and will even do funerals if asked.
Our Marquee covers an area of 35m x 21m and it has a large serving kitchen, it’s own parking, bar and toilets. The area was divided up in the past to create a chapel area for weddings of up to 150.

Facilities for the Corporate & Conference Client
Ideal for product launches and motor industry workshops as we can get vehicles into both halls and the marquee. The grounds can be used for displays of vehicles, JCB’s and other heavy plant equipment.
The large gardens can accommodate various activities and equipment needed for corporate family days and team building events. The donkey camp can be used for quad bike rides, archery and other activities. We have more than enough off road parking for any size event
Depending on the event we can host up to 350 people in cinema style in the large hall or 200 class room style for conferences and 250 for a sit down gala dinner.
The Marquee can host a conference of 400+ cinema style seating and weddings or gala dinners of 300 with space left for dancing can be accommodated.

Wedding Venue Facilities
The unique wedding chapel can seat 160 with ease, 180 at a squeeze. The covered chapel is in a sunken garden where you are surrounded by tree ferns and other exotic plants.
There are two ponds with goldfish connected by a running stream. A bridge takes you over the stream onto a landing before descending into the chapel. It is the closest you can get to a garden wedding without being exposed to the changeable weather of PE.
Riverside Hall is a unique venue with the best gardens for photo’s in PE. Riverside Hall and Marquee is a one stop venue, photographers do not have to go anywhere to get good pictures.
Along with the expansive gardens we have a mini lake where the most exquisite photo’s can be taken. We have a pony and three donkeys that just love to be photographed.
