A Wedding Venue Built in Beautiful Surroundings

Riverside Hall is an attractive wedding and function venue situated in a converted barn surrounded by beautiful gardens on a small holding of Kragga Kamma Road, Port Elizabeth. The exterior style leans to Art Deco with its earthy colours and stepping buttresses while inside the bigger hall has been painted to represent sand stone blocks with a wooden floor. Available facilities include a spacious reception hall that can comfortably accommodate 50 to 250 people; this hall can be screened of to 17,5m x 11m, 23m x 11m or the entire hall of 31m x 11m for a maximum of 250.  A smaller carpeted hall of 11m x 11m can be used for morning weddings and functions of up to 100 people.

This tranquil venue is also ideal for conferences, team building exercises and promotions, by dividing up the larger hall breakaway rooms can be created, with the added benefit of vehicle access into both halls.

The unique on site chapel, a must see with its lush planting and running stream can seat up to 160 people while the beautiful gardens, ponds and small lake allow for memorable photographs of the event. All walkways are covered so that guests can stay dry even in the worst weather conditions.

 

Wedding Layout Options and Services

 

Various options in draping for both halls are available, colour range: white, biscuit, navy blue, black, liquid silver and Hessian. Tablecloths are available in several colours while there is a choice between white or black chair covers, we also have sashes and overlays in 16 colours. Cutlery and crockery can be rented from Riverside Hall. 

Although outside table decorators are welcome we also offer a full service of decorating, setting up and arranging your function or wedding down to the finest detail and perfection.
